Flame worked borosilicate dichroic marble. This handmade, one of a kind marble has been created using dichroic glass on the inside which shifts from a soft blue/green to purple depending on the viewing angle. The back side is fumed with Sterling Silver and 24k gold. The pattern on the inside is achieved in part by encasing and subsequently twisting and compressing a piece of dichroic sheet glass to fracture the metallic coating, creating the floating sparkled look it has. It is 1.15" in diameter (29.3mm) and signed "J.Cavagnaro '20". This marble will arrive safely packed from my Dagsboro, DE studio.
